JGame example games collectionThese games are found in the JGame examples package, version 3.3. See the JGame homepage for more information, including where to get Java.
Below the screenshots are the resolutions you can choose between. Click on these to start the applets. The Java 1.4 plugin is required. Most applets run from a central Jar, which contains all the code, data, and graphics. It is about 600K, and takes about 15 seconds (or more) to load for the first game.
If a game runs too slow or the keyboard input is delayed, try a lower resolution. Much depends on your graphics drivers here. In some cases, a large game window does not fit in video memory and slows down the applets.
You can also download the games collection as an executable Jar
application jgame-all.jar (version 3.3).
